Friends of the Santa Cruz River (FOSCR) overarching mission is to collaborate with conservation scientists and private and non-profit organizations, in addition to government agencies and the public to protect and restore the Santa Cruz River and associated watersheds while inspiring stewardship of our precious and fragile natural ecosystems. For more than two decades, FOSCR has established unique partnerships across our region that have increased knowledge and awareness of the state of the Santa Cruz River by engaging citizen scientists, school groups, and community groups in experiential river conservation science.
