There are many ways to be part of the work on the Santa Cruz River. Whether you have a morning a month or an afternoon a year, these are the projects where help is most needed right now.

RiverWatch

Join our RiverWatch team for monthly water sampling from Ruby Road to Tubac Bridge. This is the program that tells us what condition the river is actually in, month to month. No experience is required and training is provided.

Write for The Flow

Contribute articles to The Flow, FOSCR’s periodic newsletter. We welcome pieces on river ecology, history, recreation, and the people working along the corridor.

Educate the public

Help us reach more people with information about recreational, restoration, and advocacy opportunities along the river. This includes tabling at community events and speaking with local groups.

The Rambler’s Guide

We are preparing a new edition of the Upper Santa Cruz River Rambler’s Guide. Help is welcome with research, writing, photography, and review.

Spanish translation

We are working to make FOSCR materials available in Spanish. Fluent Spanish speakers who can translate or review translations are especially needed.
